1. In order to comply with EU law and make the iPhone 16/16 plus easier to disassemble, Apple uses a new type of adhesive to fix the battery. When current passes through, it will debond, which greatly improves the repairability and heat dissipation of the iPhone battery.
2. Use alligator clips with 9V battery to loosen the iPhone battery adhesive and then remove the iPhone battery.
3. 9V Battery Clip Connector Black Red Dual Alligator Clips T-Type Flexible Buckle Adapter for iPhone battery removal.
5. It is worth noting that the electrically-induced battery removal process is not available for the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max.

How to use a 9V battery connector alligator clip for iPhone 16/16 Plus battery disassembly?
1. Attach the red alligator clip to the silver tab.
2. Attach the black alligator clip to the grounding screw on the bottom right.
3. Connect the T-clip leads cables to the fully charged 9V battery and wait 90 seconds for the adhesive to loosen.
4. After the iPhone battery adhesive is loosened, please disconnect the alligator clips before continuing to the next step.
5. After confirming that the battery adhesive is loose, grasp the silver tab and remove the battery from the frame. You can also use the suction cup handle to pull the battery out.

Please note:
1. If the battery does not move after using the electrically induced adhesive release technique, reconnect the alligator clips for one minute and try again.
2. A power supply or power bank with an output of 5-20V can be used, and the time required to loosen the adhesive will vary.

Why do we need to use the VoltClip tool for iPhone 16/16 Plus battery adhesive removal?
1. V007 Pro VoltClip to loosen the adhesive on the iPhone 16/16 Plus using "electrical debonding on demand" technology. The VoltClip requires a USB-C Power Delivery (PD) power source.
2. Electrical debonding-on-demand works by passing low electrical current through the adhesive. A 9–30 volt DC source is connected across the adhesive, and the resulting electrochemical reaction loosens the adhesive bond in minutes.

How to use it?
1. Open the iPhone, remove the iPhone 16/16 Plus screen.
2. Attach the red alligator clip to the silver tab on the battery.
3. Attach the black alligator clip to the grounding screw..
4. Make sure the red alligator clip isn't touching any stray metallic surfaces.
5. Apply power to the USB cable and wait 90 seconds for the adhesive to loosen.
6. Disconnect the USB cable for power and then disconnect the alligator clips.
7. The adhesive should be fully loosened at this point. If the battery doesn't budge during the step, reconnect the VoltClip for an additional minute and try again.
8. Grip the silver tab and lift the battery out of the frame.
